The Experience

An Cos offers luxury accommodation in highland Scotland for small or family groups and provides flexible sleeping arrangements for up to 10 guests.

Stunning views from every angle; majestic mountains, (nearly the highest in the UK) including nine Munros; red deer; sea eagles; otters; seals; the occasional dolphin; spectacular light, including the Northern Lights on occasion. Nature at its very best.

A challenging climb or a gentle amble along an easy path, go at your own pace and do as much or as little as you like. There are serious outdoor pursuits for the very active, den-building in the woods and beachcombing for the kids, kayaking, boat trips, sailing, fishing, stalking, tennis and glorious walking for all. For the wee ones there is also a small children’s playground in the village. The local shop, pub and Coastal Kitchen restaurant are within 5 minutes walk from the house and with friendly locals you’ll be made very welcome. Locally smoked salmon and hot poached salmon – you will never taste better - are available from Loch Torridon smoke-house, a few minutes walk away.

The house has a large selection of books, Smart TV with Netflix, DVDs, board games and a wonderful antique chess table overlooking the loch for serious challenges. For those who need to stay in touch there’s Wifi but, be warned, the ‘West Coast’ slower pace usually strikes within a few hours of arrival!

And, if the weather is disappointing, curl up in front of a roaring log fire with a single malt in hand, read, catch up on films and enjoy the experience. Perfect rest and relaxation.
